Thiabendazole occurs as fungicide and parasiticide used primarily to control mold, blight, & more fungally driven diseases around fruits and vegetables. These are breathe to control roundworms, hookworms, and more helminth species which attack wild beast, livestock and humans.

Thiabendazole is as well the chelating agent, which means that it is utilized medicinally to attach metals just in case of metallic poisoning, like lead poisoning, mercury poisoning or antimony poisoning.

Thiabendazole is abbreviated to "TBZ". These are by Merck under the brand Mintezol®.
